Bradwell Windmill, Milton Keynes

In the Bradville area of north Milton Keynes. Heading north on Grafton Street V6, take first R (Wheelers Lane) after Bradville roundabout, then first L into Nightingale Crescent.

A limestone tower windmill built in the early 1800s adjacent to the Grand Union Canal for the supply of flour to the London market. Worked to about 1876. It was restored in the 1970s-1990s by Milton Keynes Development Corporation, and placed in the ownership of Milton Keynes Council. Now managed and opened to the public by Milton Keynes Museum.  Recently restored to full working order, producing flour.

Opening times 2016
The mill will be open on the last Sunday of each month, from April to October, plus May Bank Holiday. Dates are  April 24th, May 2nd, May 14th & 15th, May 29th, June 26th, July 31st, August 28th, September 10th & 11th, September 25th, October 25th.  All days 13.30 - 16.30.

It may also be possible to arrange for group visits at times when the mill is not scheduled to be open.
