Gowy. Entrance lane by bus stop,
opposite Meadow Fishery. Parking only available for visitors with disabilities.
Others should park at The Grange Farm, about 200m west of the Mill.
A 3-storey brick-built watermill, built around 1760, comprising two mills and
two waterwheels, each driving a separate set of machinery. One set is complete.
The Trafford Mill Project is currently working towards renovating the mill with
a view to developing a centre for traditional crafts and skills.
Opening times 2017
National Mills weekend (see below), Open Farm Sunday, 5th
June, and Heritage open Days, 9th & 10th September. Otherwise by
prior appointment only.
