On A44, about 11 miles E of Aberystwyth. Look for brown signs. A traditional Welsh water-powered metal mine, which worked between 1745 and 1910. This mine produced ores of silver-lead and zinc, transported by sea to South Wales for smelting. Several examples of waterwheels and water-powered machinery are displayed.
