From A285, 2 miles S of Petworth, turn E to Burton Mill and Sutton.
The mill is 1 mile on L.
Built about 1780 on the site of a former ironworks, is powered by a 1929
Francis turbine installed in the 1920s. Restored in 1970 and refurbished
in 1984. Turbine presently being restored and expected to be in operation
early in 2017. For progress see web site. Coultershaw waterpump nearby.

be announced once the turbine repair is complete - expected to be in early 2017.
