Off A17 Newark to Kings Lynn road. Follow brown signs from Heckington bypass.

The only remaining 8-sailed tower mill in Western Europe, last worked commercially in 1946. Restored to working order in 1986, and now worked by the Heckington Windmill Trust. The mill has four pairs of millstones, three of which are working. Shop selling flour and souvenirs.
Tearoom open for refreshments, and on-site micro-brewery.
New sails fitted summer 2014 and we are now milling again. The associated mill buildings are undergoing major repair to provide improved visitor facilities and work will complete by Easter 2017.

Opening times 2017
The mill is open daily all year.  Opening times as follows: September to March: Saturday, Sunday & bank holidays, 12.00 -16.00. Easter to September 12.00 - 17.00.   See web site.  Parties by prior arrangement. Tea Room opening: Same hours as the mill. Special events and extra opening days, see web site.
