7 miles north of Brighton, take A273 north from Pyecombe towards Hassocks. The mill is signposted on right after half a mile.

A large white post mill built in Brighton in 1821 and moved to her present site in 1852. Last worked commercially in 1906. Restored to working order by volunteers. Occasionally produces flour. Refreshments and souvenirs.
The nearby Jack Windmill is in private ownership and is not open to the general public, although occasional access is available to members of the Jack And Jill Windmills Society.

Opening times 2016
May to September, most Sundays and bank holidays, 14.00-17.00 (also see web site). Parties at other times by arrangement.
