Berkswell Windmill, Balsall Common

Just off A452, between Birmingham Airport and Kenilworth, on the south east side of the village of Balsall Common.

A brick tower mill with a hand-winding wheel, built in 1826 on the site of a post mill. Last worked by wind in 1933, and used auxiliary power until 1948. Restored to workable order 2013.

Opening times 2017
One day each month from Easter - October; Normally First Saturdays in April - October, but 2nd Saturdays in July & September (Heritage Day).  All 12.00-16.00.
