Turn N off A350 from Sturminster Marshall. Mill is over bridge.

An 18th century lowland 3-storey corn mill rebuilt in 1776 on an earlier site mentioned in Domesday. Restored in 1994 by the National Trust after years of dereliction. Double undershot wheel. Much of the original elm and apple wood machinery remains.

lmid March to October, Saturdays, Sundays & bank holiday Mondays, 12.00-17.00. Admission by guided tour; last tour 16.00. Also see details on web site.

National Mills Weekend opening times 2016
Saturday & Sunday, 12.00-17.00.  We have a 1895 'Peerless' 6 horsepower steam traction engine  stationed at White Mill. for the weekend. Also Mills on the Air radio station. Tarts au Citroen refreshments.
