Three miles SE of Huntingdon, in the village of Houghton, signposted off A1123 Huntingdon to St Ives road. Mill is at the end of Mill Street.

A 5-storey working watermill on an island in the River Ouse, dating from the 1600s and containing 19th century milling machinery and a restored waterwheel. The last working watermill on the Ouse. Now again milling wholemeal flour. Owned by the National Trust.

Opening times 2017
18th March to end October, Saturdays & Sundays, 11.00-17.00. 20th March to 25th October, also Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 13.00 - 17.00.  24th July to 1st September, also Thursdays & Fridays, 13.00 - 17.00. Also open Bank Holiday Mondays & Good Friday.  Parties at other times by arrangement. For more details see web site.

National Mills Weekend opening times 2017
From 10.30 to 17.00 on both Saturday and Sunday. Meet our costumed staff & play with Victorian toys. The mill will be running in the afternoon on both days.
