Hestercombe's 17th century water mill was restored during a year-long project in 2010.  A collection of energy sources dating from Victorian and Edwardian times are showcased in the mill. The overshot water wheel was restored by millwright Martin Watts and now powers equipment for demonstrations to crush apples, grind corn and cut timber - activities that have been prominent on the Estate over the centuries.
The photograph shows wheel after restoration.
