Location
Grid reference: SU 875 128
OS sheet: 197
Postcode: PO18 0EU
7 miles N of Chichester, at S end of Singleton village on A286. Turn S. Museum entrance 30 yds on R.

A 17th century watermill, originally in Lurgashall village, dismantled and re-erected at the museum in 1973 and now working and producing flour daily.

Opening times 2016
January & February, Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday only. Daily, end-February to 11th November. (see web site for further details). Opening times, 10.30-18.00 during summer time; 10.30-16.00 rest of the year. Parties by prior arrangement.  The millpond has been emptied because we are building a new visitor centre at its perimeter. This means that, although the watermill is stewarded and open for people to explore, no milling can take place until the millpond is refilled (we estimate that will be in June or July).

National Mills Weekend opening times 2016
Saturday and Sunday, 10.30-18.00.
