About 3 miles NE of Tring, off B488 to Leighton Buzzard, 600 yds N of Ivinghoe parish church.

Small, brick and weatherboarded watermill with a mansard roof, overshot waterwheel and two pairs of stones. First recorded in 1616, but built earlier on the site of an old farm mill; in use until 1963. Restored to working order by a succession of volunteers now under the Ford End Watermill Society, it retains the atmosphere of the late 1800s. Flour milled using original machinery. Unusual sheep wash in tailrace.

Opening times
Late March to September, Two Sundays or Bank Holidays each month, 14.00 - 17.00.  Usually around 1st & 3rd Sundays. (see web site for dates).
